Our “sunshine, moonlight, goodtimes” interior is inspired by the Boogie genre of music that appeared in the late 1970s and at the start of the 1980s. We wanted to create a place where you can work, spend your free time, and also inquire about everything that peaks your interest and involves our LAB. Our intention was to create a living room-type space for both you and us. Warm, cosy, and relaxed.
Our lab is here to help us develop new technologies, flavours, and dishes, but also to allow us to fulfil our personal goals. As part of our zero-waste policy, everything that can be recycled is recycled. Every ingredient we use has a “first and second life”, mostly because we all deserve a second chance.
When entering our living room, you’ll be greeted by a long showcase – a display of our craft bakery goods. Bread isn’t the only thing you’ll find here, you’ll also see an assortment of puff pastry with all kinds of different fillings, like croissants and cruffins, along with various sandwiches and pizzas. Everything that you can see displayed is made just a few metres away, on the other side of the glass in our kitchen.
Morning till night. That’s kind of the concept we have when it comes to our food. We start at 7 a.m. with everything you can find in our showcase, but at 9 a.m., our offer is expanded by the brunch menu. At 12 p.m., our lunch offer joins the programme, and we always make sure that it’s fresh and seasonal. At 4 p.m., the dinner offer becomes available, and it consists of tapas and extra crunchy pizzas.
To us, the drinks category is just as important as the food category, so a couple of pages of the Boogie menu will be taken up by our offer of Boogie craft beers, an excellent wine list, and a whole assortment of cocktails inspired by old-timey cocktails from the early 20th century and drinks from the time of the American Prohibition. In the morning, we serve matcha and the good ol’ regular (but also specialty) - coffee.
Music is the thing that keeps everything we mentioned before together. When entering our living room, you'll hear the sounds of disco, funk, and blues, depending on what time of day it is. In the evening hours, BoogieLab transforms into a more intimate space thanks to the help of lightning, rearranging the desks, and moving the curtains. On the weekends, behind the showcase, you’ll also find a DJ that further spices up the atmosphere.
